Nandini Reddy is one of the new age directors who believes in the strength of the script and fresh characterization. The experienced lady director made an indelible impression with her debut movie Ala Modalaindi which was critical and commercial success. The movie which belongs to the rom com genre introduced Nithya Menon, a natural performer and gave Nani a lover boy image. She is coming up with her second directorial venture "Jabardasth" which has hot stars Siddharth and Samantha in the lead. Censor Report: Censor board had awarded this movie with "U/A" Certificate with a few cuts and movie has been carrying mixed to above average talk. The duration of the movie is 2 Hrs and 33 minutes. As per news from reliable sources, it is a experimental movie and has mix of romance, comedy, sentiment and lighter moments. Siddharth is believed to have done well in comedy episodes this might be the right movie to show case his comic talent. Thumbs up: The biggest positive of the movie happens to be Nandini Reddy and the fresh pairing of Siddharth and Samantha. Nandini Reddy has good script sense that offers freshness and variety. we need to see if she can overcome the second movie jinx of directors. Sidz has been going through a lean patch for a while but bounced back with Love failure. He wants to regain his lost glory as the SRK of the South with a solid hit in a romantic role laced with comedy. Samantha has been the box office darling with blockbuster hits like Eega, Dookudu and SVSC. The makers hope that her lucky charm works for this film too. The performance of the leads is the key for the movie. Nitya Menon, the lucky lady of Tollywood who gave 'Nani' and 'Nitin' their career best hits. She has a very good following amongst the youth audience and her cameo should be interesting as it is author backed. Thumbs down: One of the setbacks for this movie happens to be over expectations with stars like Siddharth, Samantha and producer Bellamkonda. If the movie is good but falls below expectations it may become a negative. As it is inspired by Band Baja Baarat, lot of care needs to be taken to rework it to suit the nativity of Telugu audience. Nandini Reddy's first film was a class film with refined comedy, we need to see how she handles a mass film with the same sensibility. Siddharth is trying mass comedy role for the first time in his career but his mass roles did not click earlier in the films Baava and Aata. Lets see how this movie fares at the box office !!!
