It
is a known fact that, off late the Central Bureau of Investigation
(CBI) which is a highly regarded institution got corrupted and spoiled
due to political intervention. The CBI has become a robot which executes
orders given by the ruling party. Due to this, the respect and regard
for the organization has been coming down.
While
it is true to an extent, terming the entire organization as a puppet is
not fair. The CBI is being called as the Congress Bureau Of
Investigation by the political opponents of congress who allege that the
department has become mechanical and has lost its code of conduct.
There
is no denying the fact that few officers from the department might be
succumbing to political pressure, the huge number of honest and sincere
officers should not be overlooked, who are ready to do anything for the
betterment of society. Let's just hope that these sincere and honest
officers in CBI, would bring the wrongdoers to justice and silence all
its critics of.
