Telangana
issue has been a thorn in the flesh to the UPA government for a long
time now. More than the UPA it is the people of Andhra Pradesh bearing
the brunt of all that is happening with no clear path to the solution is
seen.
According
to some experts the bifurcation of the state is easy if one issue is
resolved, that is issue of the status of Hyderabad. Telangana seekers
want Hyderabad for themselves and the Seemandhra people want Hyderabad
to be a united capital and that's the point where the issue is getting
stuck.
Another
proposal is that, which was proposed by Ambedkar many years ago, to
make Hyderabad a second capital to this nation, which, in a way has that
potential. The intent of the UPA government and the congress party on
how serious are they about the issue also matters.
