Deeksha Seth, a Femina Miss India 2009 finalist and an Indian film actress and model was born on February 14th 1990 in Delhi. Her father worked for ITC Limited. She did her schooling in Chennai and Ajmer and enrolled at a college in Mumbai. Deeksha aspired to be an Underwater archaeologist.  She has one elder sister, who is currently living and working in Mumbai. Deeksha was spotted by a Femina Miss India contest scout during an NSS event in her first year at college in 2009 and persuaded her into modeling. She competed in the contest and despite her lack of modeling experience she made it to the top 10 finalists and won the Fresh Face title. Deeksha made her acting debut in the Telugu drama film 'Vedam' in 2010. She also acted in 'Mirapakaay'and 'Nippu' with Ravi Teja, in 'Wanted' with Gopichand and 'Rebel' with Prabhas. She also acted in the socio-fantasy Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara? with Manchu Manoj. She acted in two Tamil films 'Rajapattai' with Vikram and 'Vettai Mannan' with Silambarasan.
